Moby Media Inc. is pleased to announce the appointment of Joe Reiben as our new Chief Executive Officer. With a wealth of experience and a distinguished career spanning over 15 years in business, tax, and regulatory matters, Mr. Reiben is well-equipped to lead our company into its next phase of growth and innovation.
Joe is an accomplished attorney and executive who has practiced law both independently and with the esteemed firms Reiben & Velvis and Reiben & Reiben, LLC, where he currently serves as Managing Partner since his admission to the bar in 2008. From 2019 until August 2024, he held the position of Director and CEO of Mandala Acquisition, LLC, the parent company of Mandala Exchange, Ltd.
Throughout his legal career, Mr. Reiben has served as both inside and outside counsel to a variety of startups in the blockchain and other emerging industries, representing companies such as Stasis (EURS), Divi, DeliveryChain, Beaxy/Hxro Gaming, Blockpax, CoralApp, Earthy, B/C Brands, CannabisOne, Apollo Sciences, and many others. He has been instrumental in advancing these markets, actively participating in interviews on platforms including NASDAQ, ABC, Coindesk, and Stockhead Australia. His discussions have focused on the evolving role of exchanges in the crypto markets, compliance and regulatory issues, and the challenges facing these industries.
In addition to his extensive legal experience, Mr. Reiben has played a significant role in drafting and advising state and federal legislators on blockchain, cannabis, hemp, and other proposed legislation, much of which has been adopted or is currently pending in various states and before the U.S. Congress.
Mr. Reiben holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with multiple disciplines, including Business Administration (with a focus on Accounting and Corporate Finance) and Economics from Bucknell University. He earned his Juris Doctor from Case Western University and is actively admitted to the bar in the State of Illinois. Since 2009, he has resided in Colorado, where he also obtained degrees in Music Performance and Music Education from the University of Colorado, Boulder.
